The Intellectual Property Archive houses the Herchel Smith Intellectual Property Law Collection. This is primarily a resource for academics and doctoral students researching in the area of intellectual property law. The collection is maintained by the Centre for Commercial Law Studies and is located at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies in Russell Square.
Although not part of Queen Mary Libraries, this collection is listed on the Queen Mary Libraries catalogue, and details of visiting arrangements are provided here for convenience.
When materials are unavailable via the IALS Library, appointments to visit the archive can be made by any student or member of Queen Mary staff. Access, on a reference-only basis, is available on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9am-1pm and 2pm-6pm. To ensure availability, please contact Malcolm Langley, citing the materials you wish to consult and when you would like to visit.
